Its really too bad a normal consumer can't get that package. It is exactly what I'd want on a base GT. Leather steering wheel with audio controls, I don't want Sync or satellite radio, and I want cloth seats.

Hopefully the wiring harness is still there so if I get a base GT I can add that leather steering wheel later, as I believe the base GT gets a cheap plastic steering wheel, similar to the one that came on my '08 GT.

Wait so how do I get that steering wheel. That interior is mine to the T. I have a base model v6 convert. and I have that cheap crappy steering wheel. The only thing I do not like about my car is the steering wheel what are my options?

Is that a 2010? Looks like the gauge cluster illumination is reversed. Or is that just how the non-MyColor gauges look?

I did what you are wanting to do. The audio controls do not work.

You can use the GT500 or Bullitt wheel but you have to swap out the cruse buttons, The pop right out (The 10+ have a diff wiring harness and light up blue)

The 10+ Fleet wheel should bolt right up with no modification but don't know if the radio buttons will work, someone should ask Kevin.

Yeah, but here's my question, Topnotch...

Since I want an automatic, could I buy that shifter and have it switched with the stock plastic shifter that'll come with my 2011 GT? That would be sweet.

You should be able to just buy the Premium leather-wrapped shift "****" separate from the whole shifter assembly.

Of course you'll still have the ugly base model steering wheel ... you could possibly put a Wheelskins 1-pc. Leather Wrap on it. Have not seen one on a '05-up, but I wrapped a few '94-98 style steering wheels with very good results.
