Those headers won't stay nice for long, ceramic coating would do wonder to them.

It won't sound the same. The type of engine and bore/stroke are completely different.

Is the upper intake actually aluminum? In that pic it looks like gray plastic...

My post was quoting Paxton's (off another forum). I don't know how he found it. I'm not sure how Wolfsburg would have found it, either, as the link for the pic in my post had quote tags around it.

Does this mean you can no longer fit a supercharger in the valleys between the engine like the 4.6?

For those that haven't seen in the 412hp thread. Thoughts? Engine looks great. I don't care for the font on the badge.
It looks better than I expected. Someone really took their time designing that cover to look good. And those runners I'm pretty happy that the 5.0 badge returns

No. A roots type supercharger would replace the whole intake manifold altogether, so it can be done to fit.

Looks like the heads stretch out to meet the upper intake manifold in that pic instead of the runners from the intake being longer... the intake side on the heads seem built in, so there is no "valley" ?

Correct. It looks more like 60 degrees than 90, and it's missing two ports on the intakes.
