**SNEAK PEAK - 96-04 STEEDA K-MEMBER**
Hi guys, this has been a very long time in the making, so here is a sneak peak at our upcoming 96-2004 Mustang Street/Road Race/Drag Race K-member.
This unit was designed for strength first, weight reduction second but will still save you over 18lbs from the stock K-member and is far stronger than anything else in the market. We have years of testing and development into this piece and are finally ready to let the cat out of the bag....
Take a look....

Needs to be more Astony
Wow thats a nice looking peice!
Are the tubular k-members not strong enough?
Is the benefit to this one being stiffer for better handling, or durability so it won't break?

For decades all our road race cars used stock K-members and that is all we recommended for road racing. If we were to do one we would not do it unless we were totally satisfied with its strength under harsh road race conditions. This is the result of those efforts.

I've heard a bit of bad rap for the QA1 stuff that they have been selling, so it is really refreshing to hear of a company designing a new product to replace the product that people aren't 100% satisfied with.
Now get cracking on the 94-95 version.

I'm not usually one to piggyback but there's no point in having two threads for the same part, is there?
Here's a pic from the back and the link to our page. This part is officially on the market!
http://www.steeda.com/products/mustang-k-member.php
Here are the full product details:
Steeda's SN95 K-Member was designed to shed some weight from the front end without requring a full
suspension replacementor requiring modified geometry.
Made from a mix of 4130 chrome moly and low alloy steel, our K-member is approximately 19 lbs lighter
than the OE K-member.The control arm cups were designed to accept unmodified stock control arms so
tubular control arms are not required.
Our K-member features 2 lower control arm mounting positions for fine tuning of roll center geometry.
One position if for cars at stock ride height or less than 1 inch lower than stock. The second position is
recommended for cars 1 to 1 1/2 inches lower than stock. For further roll center correction if you are
lowered more than 1 1/2 inches check out our X2 Ball Joints.
Finally, while the rack can be positioned in the stock location, we've made it adjustable for changes to the
Ackerman geometry. Ackerman adjustment is a must for the serious road racer.
