Replacing underhood hoses & flexikool heater hose?
Anyone replace their vacuum hoses (or any other hoses/lines) with high quality steel braided hoses and nice clamps?
I want to do something with good looking clamps (i.e Magna Clamps) and hoses by Aeroquip, Spectre or similar mfg.
I need to know what sizes/part numbers you used...it would be greatly appreciated.
Any link for a table that concerts "AN" sizes to layman's terms. Never understood those.
I also have put the Flexikool radiator hose on...haven't done the heater hose yet. I would have to drain most of the fluid out for that job...right? I was able to get away with just capturing some overflow of the coolant when doing the radiator one. Any tips?
And photos, photos, photos please!

scrabler did, He posted some pics on another topic. He used this site
http://www.powerflowracing.com/1catalog.asp
Each hose kit comes with 2 fittings.
5/16" line: http://www.powerflowracing.com/prtdetail.asp?PD=756. It's 36" long and you cut it to the size you need and slip the other clamp on. I bought one of these.
3/8" line: http://www.powerflowracing.com/prtdetail.asp?PD=762. It's 36" long and you cut it to size also. I bought 2 of these, and used the excess from one of them for the brake vaccum and bought an extra set of clamps.
5/8" line: http://www.powerflowracing.com/prtdetail.asp?PD=827. This one is 48" long and you cut it to size also. I bought one of these as well.
The radiator overflow, passenger side PCV, fuel vaccum, and brake vaccum are 3/8", the fuel rail one is 5/16", and the big PCV on the driver's side is 5/8".
I don't think he would mind me sharing the info. My boys are coming to visit for the summer, my oldest is 16 and this would be a good project for us to do together as well as painting the valve covers.

Here is mine, Spectre Performance ordered from Pepboys.com. Searched for part numbers at powerflowracing.com. Ordered seperate clamps and hoses then cut to length. Someone on TMS helped me with sizes but, I can't remember his name.

Mine are being installed one day next week. My mechanic could not do it the same day he installed my cam covers. I ordered through Auto Zone locally because they carried Spectre.
