*Updated* Arin's Uber "76" Mustang II Buildup

..from his mom. i know you guys have heard this like a bajillion times before but...

if this car runs well when i visit this weekend i WILL buy it

$2500 OBO 1976 Cobra II 2.8L V6. i kno i kno, its a six, but at least its cheap gas and i can learn stick on it until i have the cash for a 351W swap and plus, when its got that 351, im still gonna be paying V6 insurance! only thing it doesnt have that i want is t-tops, but oh well. cant have everything in your first car..

Arin is in Love. i hope that it runs as good as it sounds (but i have no doubts, it just got rebuilt)

this is all i gots. my tank of hope was on empty, im running of self esteem from football (which just started again, PS say hello to Mr. dropped 3 passes in 3 days ). as soon as spring trainings out, im a goner unless i gets it

wish me luck!

btw: HOLY CRAP!!! mom just asked me for the info on the car again so che can check the insurance rates! now im REALLY excited.

HOCKY CRAPOLLA!!!!!!!

Arin, that is one sweet ride, and a perfect first car!
As you gain more moneys and experience, you can swap the engine to meet your growing needs!!!

Awesome dude! I hope this becomes reality for you.

(remember, Montebello is only about 400 miles from Redwood City )

Looks Awesome! Charlies angels! take off the door guards though. Just park away from other cars. Those German made 2.8V6's last forever! Strong little engine! You don't need t-tops, they all leak anyway.

I can personally vouch for those German Ford V6's. My mum's 1987 Aerostar has one, and the engine has lasted two trips to Guadalajara, Mexico and much much more! And it's still going strong!

Don't worry about it not being a V8, its a classic anyway! and most people will think it has to be a V8 because its a cobra mustang, you don't have to let them know its only a 6! Great car to pick up chicks in!

its in SoCal. who nows, i might pass it when im visiting colleges (i really want northwestern in illinois, they have a fomoco research facility there. i can be an intern and probabaly, if i go there and graduate with flying colors, would get a job with ford. i cant wait!)

when i go? gee, as soon as i can afford gas (even with the six lol)

$3 a gallon is killin me.

meeting up would be great. but lets not count my chicken before it hatches here i still have to buy it. it'd be really cool to see you guys PARTY AT LALOS!!!!!!!!
