update on cutting and gutting

Been quite a while since I have posted on my car. Usually just comment on someone else's thread.

Torque converter and drive shaft with GM yoke just came in. The engine bay is starting to get filled again with the powerglide (with its custom brackets), rebuilt motor, custom driveshaft, turbo, and piping. The new fuel system (smallish fuel cell) is located near the rear axle, so the meth kit had to be moved and the large transcooler can be found where the stock fuel tank used to be.

A major focus has been weight reduction and redistribution. This will help out the 2 speed glide which is about 80 lbs lighter than the 4r70w. Lots of wiring and wire harnesses have been removed all over the car, along with removing the a/c, sound system, and lots of shielding. Think might be about 300 lbs lighter. Other changes are upgraded heads/cams, the JPC intake manifold.

Goal is to have car dynotuned around the end of the month and hope to get 25+ lbs boost. The boost and weight loss might get car into the low 9s. Then continue cutting and gutting.
