I don't know about you but I'm seriously thinking about selling my 05 GT when the '11 GTs arrive.
I don't know how much it'll cost and I don't know what my financial situation will be when that time comes but it makes no sense to do any more mods to my 05 GT if I plan on selling it - right?

The sad facts are that not one penny you have invested in mods has added any value. And in the general publics eyes may have even made it undesirable. I think when it comes time to trade or sell your 05 in on the 2011 it just won't be worth anything. So I say keep the 05... mod the hell out of it and get the 2011 also!!

Keep the 05, take the money you would spend on the 11, put in a 401K or a IRA or whatever. College for the kids and retirement will be here before you know it. All that will happen with the 11 is that it will lose value.

I dont care for the new body look at all , I think they went backwards to a point . I do love the idea of the 5.0 with 400 horse . But I my 05 is paid for , and modded to my liking , and in reality 300 horse or 400 horse you can still only do 75 legally anyway . If I buy another Stang it is gonna be a old collector to go with my 05

I'm already setting up plans for my black 2011 GT in my garage! My 05 is paid off, I have modded it to my perfection, and I absolutely love my mustang! Buuuuutt.... I have been waiting for ford to step it up and now that they finally are I will do the same.. The idea of a new model 5.0 mustang from the factory I can't wait to hear what it sounds like with a full exhaust

I'd be interested in picking up a low miles used '11 5.0 when my '06 gets up in the miles.

I'm excited about the new more powerful GT, and I hope to pick one up, but it probably won't happen this year. My '08 should be paid off by the end of 2010, but it will probably be sometime in 2011 before I'm ready to get a new one. I might trade in (or sell) my '08 to get a 2011 or 2012 GT, or I might keep my '08 and turn it into a track toy.

I too am not a fan of the new body style. It makes me more glad to have my 08. Yes they did improve a few things, interior being the big one. But, if the need for speed/power gets the best of me, a s/c should take care of that.

I have $13,000 left to pay off on my 08' so I will probably be keeping it. If I want more power I can always add a e-force. I like the body style on ours a lot more and I've already bought a enough crap to upgrade the suspension to be better than a 11'. Maybe in 6 years I'll pick up a used 2011 GT500 with the aluminum block

I am very interested to see what ROUSH and the other tuners come up with for the 5.0; and also very interested to see on what edition(s) the Boss 302R fascia will be available from Ford.

Maybe I missed it somewhere but does anyone know what type of internals the new Coyote engine will have in it??? While 412 hp doesn't require forged internals Ford could do us all such a favor if they did.
