The FRPP Sports allegedly are made by Borla. Equivalent to the S Types (Stingers). I like them alot. Nice deep resonance without the rasp of the ATAKs. They sound truly awesome when I drive in sport mode and drive aggressively.

The Sports aren't obnoxious but they can't be called quiet.

Knowing what I know now if I had to do it all over again, I would have rather had the Tourings. When I'm on a handsfree call and driving in the non-sport mode, folks on the other end can clearly hear my mufflers between 1000 and 1300 RPM. It's the fundamental compromise a person has to make when they want a louder exhaust. 95% of the time they're fantastic. 5% of the time they're slightly annoying, especially for folks with automatics.

    Hey ustabawannab,

I was reading your post on the FFRP S Typpe, I'm about to pull the trigger on the Borla STypes, but have never listened to them in person.

I know the ATAKS are too much for what Im looking for. So I'd be between the Tourings and the SType. Did you listen to both and still prefered the tourings? I don't know which to go with..I dont want it to be too similar to the stocks, but I cant deal with a lot of noise, its a DD.

Would you mind elaborating a little more on what you thhink between tourings and stype?

    Thanks man,
    Rick
