Hey, I just got the CT title so I posted the ad for the vic to see if there is any interest. Bad time of year to sell anything, hopefully after the new year I will get some serious buyers. SVO guy may want to sell his 84 with the 13K, I may see him over the next month or so & can find out.

Hey Slide, it's been awhile. I saw you posted the Cobra Vic for sale, sorry to see that. I'm considering selling mine too and saving some money on something older, which is when I came across the SVO posting. Did the seller ever consider selling them or no dice? I was looking into SVO's since I'd be able to get one and spend some cash on mods without going in the red.

For a track day you only need a helmet & the car has to be in good condition. EMRA has a couple events as does many other local clubs. You run at the pace you want to. Lots of fun. Hit the LRP web site & I think they have a schedule listed

Nice. I was in Lime Rock for one of the '05 races and saw the then new Stang kickin' booty against the M3's. Boris Said won that day. They had the youth BMW racing team there...and Malcolm in the Middle was one of them. And I think a turboed Konig Focus ZX-3.

What's the rules with safety for running a car at Lime Rock? do you need a roll cage or just a helmet? I'd like to take my Vic on the track but for a cruise rather than an quick time.

Crown Vic...the Grand Marquis went to pasture two years ago from leaking a bunch of oil out of the motor :'(. It would be my current 03 Vic Lx Sport with the new 5.0 for a project but that's in a few years
