Hi Doug, does the 3.7 V6 oil filter adapter work with the 2016 V6 version on Mustangs also? Thanks, Greg

Hi! Doug, just stopping by to say hi! If you miss my Thread, i made a video for youtube called 0 to 100. If you want to watch it click on this link. My G-Tech had the 0 to 60 time of 5.65 seconds. Talk to you later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btgv-S9dzvk

I did Doug. I had 'some' doubt when this was being first talked about because 'so many people' were saying the V-6 'didn't' do the higher octane adjustment for more power. Now, after reading what you posted and after reading what it said in my Dad's Taurus owners manual, i am now positive our engines produce more horsepower on higher octane gas. Talk to you later.

Did you see what I posted from the June 2010 MM&FF Article in my fuel mileage thread ?? It basically says the same thing ... out of the mouths of 3 Ford engineers. If you have not yet read this article, I posted a link to it as well.

Hi! Doug. If you miss the Thread i started i'll tell you what i found while reading my Dad's 2010 Taurus owners manual. His is a 3.5L but same over all engine as our 3.7L. "Your vehicle will run normally on 87 octane regular fuel. Premium fuel will provide improved performance".

I now believe higher octane will give us more horsepower. I run 93 octane now because of the Tune i got but its nice to know when i change back to the factory Tune i will still benefit from the higher octane. Too bad no one has given us any idea how much horsepower higher octane will give us.

    Talk to you later.

Yes, all 2011 GT's but Brembo get one but it is now an 18" to fit over the GT's bigger brakes. All we need is the 17" size that was std. on all '05-10 GT's which is probably quite a bit cheaper to purchase and may even weigh a bit less.

Hi! Doug. I had to order a new temp. spare, jack and lug wrench from my dealer OUCH!!! No used ones anywhere. I was wondering, do the 2011 G.T.'s (non performance package) come with a temp. spare tire? I think Ford is going to get a lot of heat over this in the next year or so. Talk to you later.

I was under there for quite a while a week or so ago just checking every detail out an noticed that too. Just took a peak and mine is just the OPOSITE ... a 16" long section on the Driver's side is flattened top & bottom where the pass side is normal round. Can't be a clearance issue as the two pipes are otherwise symetrical (w/b same clearance if both were round).

My honest opinion is this is just another example of over engineering ... having this flattened section must have some desired positive effect on back pressure or sound.

I'll be back under there today doing it's 1st oil change @ 1500 miles.

Hi! Doug. If you ever get under your Mustang, check to see if on the mid-exhaust pipe on the passenger side it is oval shaped and the drivers side is nice and round. I don't know why. I noticed this while i was spray painting my rear-end and axles. I used a whole full size can of paint LOL!!! Talk to you later.
