    I just noticed your message. I'm insured through State Farm and it looks like I'm paying just under $1200 per year but I have a lot of stuff (four cars, a motorcycle, 2 houses, and some other random stuff) insured through them so I am getting a variety of discounts. So far I've only been driving the car between April and early November and I only drive it a few days per week. Last year I put on just less than 8,000 miles. Currently I'm up to about 11,000.

    I'm in metro detroit too.
    Where is your mustang insured through?
    And what do you mean by part time car?

    I've got an 05, I'm 47 with no points and I'm at about $1400 a year
    (Less if I put it in storage) and that's for my 2nd car!

    Guess I should be shopping around more..
