    Hi wwwii63,

Sorry for thelate reply. The head units had amps built into them, I believe, but thenav head unit does not and therefoer needs an external amp.

Hey Jim, I have a question about your post for adding OEM Navigation. When you were adding the amp to your Mustang, was it because you originally had a basic radio? I have a Premium Sound with the Shaker 500 system. I would assume that the Shaker systems, both 500 and 1000, have amps already in them. So, adding an amp in my case would be a moot point. Am I correct in my thinking?

    Thanks in advance,
    William

Hey Jim, I've been wanting to install 2013 heated mirrors on my 2012 base model Mustang and stumbled across this thread https://themustangsource.com/forums/...irrors-528120/ I was wondering if you could give me some more info on how you hooked up the connection to the 2280C connector. I have no prior experience messing with the electronics on my cars, but I've located the connector, just not sure how you'd wire into it. Any help would be appreciated. Have a great day!

Jim, I'm a new member to the Mustang Source, and I see you are an experienced poster/mustang owner. I am just buying a Mustang, but can't decide between two cars. Could you possible give me your quick opinion? Both are v6 convertibles, one silver, one grey. The Silver one is 2013 with 33k mileage at $13999, and the Grey is 2014 with 33k mileage at $14.4. Both have leather seats, but the grey one has a nav system. I'd lean towards the Grey one, but the only thing is is that the Carfax shows its had structural damage (accident,). Would you recommend one over the other? I really don't need a nav system. 1) http://www.freewayautomall.com/pre-o...Mustang/103181 2) http://www.diamondautoexchange.com/2...CA_7717906.veh
