Hi! I don't know if you are looking at the G.T. or V-6. The 3.31 rear gear is great on the V-6. It only turns around 1,800 r.p.m. at 60 m.p.h. So it feels normal. I kind of wish Ford offered 3.55 gears for the V-6. My 4 cylinder Dodge i traded in did 2,150 r.p.m. at 60 m.p.h. I think i'm going to end up getting almost the same gas mileage after the engine breaks in. I really like the V-6. It has all the power i will ever need and the ride is outstanding and so quiet. Hi! I think the 2.73 gear ratio will be too lazy LOL!!! I hope someone will figure the difference in gas mileage with the 3.31 gear ratio. I don't think it will be very much difference. If everything works out right, I'm going to order one next week. Talk to you later.
