Wilwood, Baer etc... Was it worth the expense and are you happy with it when you are street driving?
Enlighten me... I track my car occasionally but not a competetive racer. 85 % street driving. NOT a daily driver.

I have the stock brake system so no real dog in the fight, however for the occasional track use mostly street it wouldn't make sense. The added expense of rotors and pads and the like would just be silly just to stop better on the street.

Many Boss owners including myself have upgraded the front pads to a track pad for track days, costs about $260. This changes the braking power insignificantly.
I also run a high temp brake fluid IE Motul AND I upgraded to steel brake lines.
These three items are MUCH less $$ than a big brake kit. You can always call Terry Fair @ Vorshlag in Plano, TX, He has raced a 2011 Mustang GT with brembo brakes with these same upgrades and has set many track records in past 3 years.

I have added a Stoptech BBK for added heat dissipation and they work really well. Going to a 15" rotor works for on 19" wheels but can be problematic for 18" wheels. These rotors are 355x35 vs 355x32 stock. If you're only doing a couple of track days a year and not pushing your car stick with the stock brakes and add pads like others have suggested. See post #50 in the thread below.

It's this kit with ST calipers for a nice savings. Send me a PM if you have any questions on how to order them.
