New BFG g-Force Sport COMP-2

http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/bfgco...2_Introduction

Tire Rack to release mid-April. BFG featured a Boss in some of their recent demos with these new tires. 340 utqg rating. Several videos out there testing it on a Boss with SVT wheels. Looks to be a good viable option.

There's a couple of other threads on this already. These do look promising and appear to have a similar compound used in the latest Michelin PSS tires.

Tread wear rating of 340 is a hard compound.
Original Boss Pirelli P Zero's are 220.
Toyo T1S is 240.

You can't really compare tread wear ratings between manufacturers but only within their line. Besides Michellin was able to get 15% more traction from their pilot super sports while retaining a harder compound vs the ps2.

Kind of a cool videogame-like movie. I didn't see a full G, though...

I'm definitely considering these for my next set of summer tires. Waiting to see more user reviews on them first.

I've got the original GForce Sports, and I love the hell out of them! They grip all day, look fantastic, and have held up well. These are about twice as expensive as those are though.

I know this is the Boss sub forum, but I just had a set of 4 BFG g-Force Sport Comp 2 tires put on my GT and figured I'd report my initial thoughts. It's raining it's butt off today and I didn't get spirited driving yet, but the Pirelli hum is gone!!! These have excellent traction on the wet pavement and I really look forward to it being dry tomorrow to really give them a traction test. For $1050 installed in stock size 255/40ZR19 I say there isn't many tires gonna beat them. I considered Tire rack but a local tire shop beat the tire rack price by $300 and I didn't have to pay the additional for shipping, mount balance, and alignment.

Went to the BFG site and according to their Tire finder they do not have a tire that fits the Boss. Do these tires really exist? If they do, anybody knows their eventual release date? I would be very interested in trying them on.

According to the Tire Rack:

The stock front size is available now (255/40/19)

The stock rear size in September (285/35/19)

I used the 1st generation of these tires on my 2000 Mustang for a few years. They were a great tire on the street, and EXCELLENT as a track rain tire. The tread pattern as well as the wear rating were the same as these.

My brother, who's a tire dealer / installer / shop owner just got the "press kit" for the BFGs. Sorry the photos are not that good.
