Busy day today: (new mods warning)
I had a busy day:
First off, the new look, sans replacement side "hockey" stripes and foglight insert mesh (picked up at night and raining, so good pics tomorrow perhaps):
PEARL!:
then changed the cluster:
some switchback LEDs: (jury is out on this one):
(a bit too blue in white mode)
normal during flashing:
Then finally, the most polarizing modification my painter did (which jury is also out on this one):
Pearl goes nuts under a flash:

Thanks, if I keep the console yellow blaze (which I haven't seen it in the daylight yet, maybe with the cowl visible its amazing), I'll have to do something with the seats to have a yellow blaze stripe, or get aftermarket seats and go yellow blaze on the backs or something to make it not a standout piece like it is.
Something understated to make that less overstated. Otherwise I may vinyl wrap it. Like anything else, I'm going to give it a week. The paint itself looks amazing.

Console looks nice! I hope the paint is durable enough to hold up. How about covering it with some of that 3M clear-bra stuff? Might dull it a bit, but if this is a daily car the tradeoff might be worth it.

Like the color and the console, makes it unique, love the hood also, not crazy about the tennis ball on a new paint job though.
Post more pics, love seeing mods!!

The gauges look good but my question is are the numbers as crisp as the OEM and lighting and were did you buy them from ? I had replaced the 4 pack gauges in my Camaro SS and I had changed them back to stock because the lighting was dull and the numbers were not crisp at all.

Tiger hood (correct?) looks amazing with that paint! Add a matching shift boot to the console and I say keep it. Was wondering what it would look like painted or maybe hydro dipped. Thanks for the pics!

I thought you were doing piano black on the console? Looks good YB too, but yeah I'd get your white 401A stripes died matching yellow. That would be perfect!
I'd drop the switchbacks for some regular amber LEDs. Also, can you change the center 4 gauge faces too? The non matching font doesn't look right now. New gauges look amazing though!
Lastly, did you dip your silver wheels? Always loved the silver ones on your car, but I know your black and yellow theme kinda goes against that. To me, the silver wheels made the car look like an OEM special edition.

I'll report back on that.

I really like the hood but i'd be a bit nervous about being parked outside in the rain. Are there any issues with it raining on the engine through that hood?
