Next Bullitt?
Saw this item on Autoblog: the next Bullitt?
Kind of looks like a modern interpretation of a Bullitt Stang: DHG coloring, minimalist, de-badged styling, Torque Trust'ish wheels. I'd even get rid of the existing pony badges front and rear (everybody in the world knows it's a Mustang, ferchrissakes).
Boy, I hope so because the Bullitts are among my favorite Stangs and certainly the classiest.

I would love that but I'm going to be a skeptic and say its guard with a new wheel combo we haven't seen yet. They have a few months to dial in the details.

I believe that's guard also but I don't mind a Bullitt edition in guard. If it's not a Bullitt, it's at least a good start to someone's own rendition. I'm really digging those wheels also.

This has even less connection to "Bullitt" than the 2001 version did. At least that one was Dark Highland Green Metallic. The only real Bullitt homage was the 2008-2009 version. Please, Ford, don't even try it with this model.

I think the '01 Bullitt was great and it was very exciting when it came out. Wonderful tribute since there was never a tribute before. The best part is you could eventually get the same trim package in a couple different colors. Not all people think DHG is a nice color. I'm impressed that they decided to do a Bullitt again in '08. Would be nice to see an attempt in the new body also.

This. It's just a Guard V6 Premium...nothing to see here. The Bullitt has been retired and should remain so (and I love the Bullitts...they just can't do another one).
Edit: Went through the pics on AB. This is absolutely a V6 or EB 2.3, check the front brakes.

This is a Guard V-6/EB Premium with the 18 inch wheels we have seen before on the Competition Orange Base Model caught in the wild.
Which also has the Tri-Bar Pony on the Rear Deck...

I agree with the others though too now seeing the badging and brakes. This will be an interesting launch.

They Both have the Fully Painted Monochromatic Rear Bumper/Diffuser and Halogen Headlights. Im pretty sure they are Both Base Model V-6 Coupes. I did notice the Guard car has the thin Lip Spoiler on the edge of it's decklid too.

Back to halogen headlamps (for the base cars) just as the rest of the world is going LED or even Laser! Way to go, Ford
Back to topic though, Tampa and a few others are spot on, this is nothing more than a V6 in Guard.
That being said, I'd love to see DHG make a comeback. Not as a Bullitt, just as a standard color option
