Coming from other car brands?

Like the title says, who else got drawn into the new 2015 mustang like I did. Always been a fan of mustang and was going to purchase a 2011 California Special 5.0 a few years back but ended up with a 335i.

I too was pumped up for the 5.0 to come out but I was not too happy with the looks of the 11-12. Not quite a 335i but my 330i has been a pretty good car. I would trade my 330i in a heart beat for the 2015 mustang, and in plan on it!

I did not have to wait for the 2015. When I saw the 2013-2014, and saw the 2010 Camaro, I switched from GM to Ford when I decided to buy a new car. I was a Chevy fan from 1982 to 1995, then switched to Pontiac, and now I replaced my daily driver Pontiac with a Ford. I still love GM (other than them killing Pontiac), just not what GM has to offer in my price range today. The SS sedan is a fine car and the Impala is probably on of the nicest FWD cars in its price range, but not for me. The Camaro is very nice, too, but not as nice as the Mustang. I also love old Mopar, anything prior to 1974 gets my attention, especially Challengers and Cudas. And we better not forget old AMC either. Rebel Machines and AMX's are very cool. But for now, today, the Mustang is my preference. I would take a GT500 over a ZL1 or Z28, a Boss over a 1LE, a GT over an SS, and a V6 over a LT. Never considered the Challenger. It just doesn't do anything for me from 75% of the angles I see it at.

Love the new Corvette, Very impressed by the CTS-Vsport, I drove the Chevy SS THUMBS UP. I won't do anything until I see the 2015 mustang and hear about the first SE coming down the pipe. But a lot of companies are making great cars.

Right now leaning hard as heck towards a gt350. Time will tell!

A lot of people I see jump from 3 series bmw's to the mustang. I'm trying to get rid of this pos mitsu. Almost succeeded too... but got a house instead. Better investment, and all that..

me personally i just want a v8. i still have my order on my f80 m3 but probably gonna cancel it as soon as i get confirmation that i can get my hands on a 2015 50th anniversary in kona blue.

i could have gone with a used e92 m3 and supercharged that but the crap torque just didnt make me happy.

drove a new stage 3 roush 5.0 which i believe is at 575 hp and got my sold on the whole mustang life. and with the 2015s coming out it was perfect timing

Didn't you know? That's who Ford is going after with the new Mustang. They can't sell to the old farts forever. Be prepared to see 2015s with stretch, poke and camber at all four wheels now. Heck, I've seen at least half a dozen 2010-14s bagged and dumped on Instagram....

Don't forget the fart can pipes for the eco-4-banger-turbo. THAT is going to take some getting used to.

That's why I always hates the axleback setup on the 2005+, not to mention it doesn't sound as good as a mid muffler setup. This will make it easier to look like fartcans

Blame those pesky lawyers and the feds. The mid mufflers were put behind the axle so the gas tank would be mounted ahead and protected in a rear end collision.

I agree it took that signature sound away but the trade off was pretty good namely the reduced chance of ending up in a pinto inspired funeral pyre.
