2015 GT horsepower?

The GT in either form is limited to 155 mph as is the GT500 when not equipped with the performance pack that includes all the coolers.
I don't know about the Boss? I'm under the impression it doesn't have the speed limiter.
I don't know why 155 mph seems to be a common limit imposed by manufacturers? If I had to guess it probably boils down to a tire issue as much as anything else (I've heard going faster than 155 plays hell with the stock 2-piece driveshaft even on the GT and GT500 - which hasn't been my experience.)

I highly doubt it.....More like a 100 lb weight gain for the 5.0...There isnt enough weight loss from the aluminum parts to overcome the weight gain from the other changes.
Ford would have commented about a weight loss of this magnitude.....Instead of saying it's meeting targets.

That was my thoughts too. With bolt ons, I'm thinking it will be about 11.6-11.7. So about .1-.2 slower than the C7. Which means the next generation SVT model (whatever it's going to be) should be right in line with the C7 and perhaps even faster. And with bolt ons, should be able to hit 10's easily. Exciting stuff

If the GT comes in a wee bit lighter or around the same weight with more content I wont complain.

Ummm,...ford doesn't have anything from China? They also took a 9 billion dollar loan from the Feds.

Nowhere has it been confirmed by Ford, that all models across the line will lose 200lbs. This has been constantly thrown around, and I think people are going to be pretty disappointed when it's within 50lbs of the current car...

While I might expect the 2015 to gain a couple of modest clicks on the straight and narrow, I think the biggest performance gains will be realized when the wheel is hauled over more that ten degrees and the middle peddle is used in anger.

As for the 155 glass ceiling, that's a loose advisory at best now and a simple ECU hack to subvert at worst.

The 200 mph capable GT500 does sport a CF single piece driveshaft though, not sure where it becomes critical to do so and for what amount of time?

The new vette brings the word sexy and fine to a whole new meaning. The new upcoming websters dictionary will have a picture of the new Corvette next to the word sexy. Lmao! I love my mustang but gosh golly that C7 is the most beautiful car.
