I would guess fine. You just wouldn't have Sync.

I think I actually have a Sync module, though, that I could sell. I'll check at home after work.

I should also mention that the lvds wire between the ACM and FDIM was included with my harness. If had know would have saved me $50.

If anyone needs one i got one

This is sooo flippin awesome. I have to say. I might do this eventually. I don't like the crappy aftermarket options either. I just want the Nav so I don't have to use my phone.

Same for me.. disliked using my iphone all the time.

The travel link is a wicked bonus, along with auto-climate.

I love my nav unit. Wouldn't have it any other way. It is waaaaaay better looking than anything aftermarket.

I just asked, since if I went this route, my 12 Boss doesn't have sync.

Right now what I've done is used the schoshe unit, and a AVIC stereo, and rigged up the Bluetooth for hands off operation.

Did anyone notice that sync slowed down a great deal after doing the swap?

Man this is nice. Tried the aftermarket but no luck with the OttoNavi......software was bad. The Alpine cost a arm and a leg+your first born....I want the OEM look and the NAV, but I think this swap is way over my head..I mean I am a system engineer, but dam I am not to sure about taking the dash out of my Shelby...

it's quite a bit easier to remove and replace all that than you think...

I agree. It sounds intimidating, but it is straight forward. You take some pnels off, you unscrew some bolts, you pull the dash out. That's it.

And you don't HAVE to pull out the dash.

If you go this route, any one of us can walk you through it.

Is there an all inclusive list of parts needed somewhere in this thread...along with a total rough cost?
I don't have heated seats (dont want them) and DO have Sync w/ Shaker 500.

Id like to start collecting parts a little at a time...

I see that Tasca has the radio bezel on ebay for $80 shipped....good deal or not?
Does not have the Nav screen but does have the buttons on bottom.

On the first page I have the list of what you need. Look for the nav on car-parts.com.

$80 is good for the bezel, but the wreckers can usually sell you everything nav related as a bundle. I got my nav, screen, bezel, harness, climate module and amps all for $600 plus shipping. I couldn't use the harness and amps, though, as they weren't right for my year, but still.

Do you have a junker you deal with ? I tried calling one of the places, and the lady was non to helpful. I was trying to figure out if AF/FM/CD w/Screen Bezzel was the entire radio ? It was 750 from this place. Another place had the front for 215 ? Seemed a litle high.

I may try to see if I can find a wrecker this weekend.

car-parts.com is the best resource for finding used parts.

For the price, and desc that sounds like it would include the ACM. Ask them to email you pictures.

I see one on there for a Shelby. I would call them and have them visually check for you, as I did when I was looking.

Sent you a PM with what I found.

Sometimes they have access to a database we don't. I called a wrecker for a nav from this site, and they pointed me to a wrecker in BC that wasn't listed, which is where I got mine.

Thanks. Going to do that tomorrow. Just hope the person is nicer than the lady I spoke with yesterday....

I would NOT be paying $2000. You could get all the parts new and still have money left over.

Plenty of wrecked 2010s - 2013s out there. I'd keep looking.
