Smoked corner lenses/LED lenses?
Anyone know if someone sells these for the 2010+ yet? I don't want to paint over the stock ones, and prefer something with reflective properties or even an LED backed ones (provided the front don't blink).
Tried eBay, didn't see anything, and didn't see any on a few vendors sites.

A guy on eBay was making them, but if there's none on there maybe he hasn't posted them up in a while. I posted a thread with a link a long time ago, but I think it got erased after the hack...

I looked a while back, didn't see anything.
Now, the real question is, does anyone make an LED reflector instead of incandescent?
I definitely think I'd do a smoked set on Kona. Those chrome/clear ones look like dog ass.

You can change the bulb to an LED one. I'm not sure what you're looking for. You basically want an LED strip to replace the indicator? Like R8 style?

Something like this, where you use a series of LEDs, not just a bulb:
Much cleaner look, and on dark colored cars they blend in very well. Brighter than stock too.

Nice. That on your 6? There are lots of people who do custom lighting. I'd get the smoked lenses off eBay and send them to one of those guys. Have them mold in an array of LEDs like that and you can have them make a harness to hook up to the factory harness.

I had them on my MS6, loved the look too. Definitely something you didn't see a whole lot of.
I was hoping someone out there offered a similar product for the Mustang, seems like it would be a pretty easy thing to sell.
Also, I didn't see any rear reflectors, only the front corners. Any luck with those?

Also, since I don't really know this without looking, where is the turn signal that actually flashes on the 2010? next to the headlamp or in the bumper?

The part that flashes is in the headlamp for both HID and standard housing. The light in the bumper doesn't flash but is on regardless whenever the lights turn on.

Thank you. That means an LED conversion wouldn't be too tough since no load resistors are needed to compensate.

IDK, it might... I know for my reverse lights and dome lights there's a very dim glow that stays on even when the car is off. From my understanding, on a 100% battery this will drain 1% of it over the course of a year. Which is trivial at best... So I can easily live with it. And you really have to mash your face into the tail light, and be told that it's on to even realize it.
I'm not so sure if you replace the stock front turn filament bulb with an led, if that would require a resistor or not... Something tells me there will be a hyperflash... I've been meaning to try one out... but haven't yet.
As for the front markers, what you don't want is something like this tho:
Which is why I haven't bought any Front or rear side markers... no matter what output degree or lumen, odds are it wont fill the space, but rather be just a direct spot. Which to me looks awful.

Exactly the reason why I'd skip doing LEDs on the turn signals unless I could get some like I had for my MS6. That awful spot lighting is useless and looks terrible.
If they don't flash, then you won't need a load resistor. If they did and you swapped the LED in, you'd have your "hyperflash" condition that looks stupid as well.
I'm interested to see why you have some residual LED lighting on at all times. That's unusual, and I wonder why that is. Have you ever used a voltmeter to measure the voltage at a light terminal? Do you have the active anti-theft in your car? Just trying to understand that a little more, thats all.
