hit a deer, time to do some mods!!
well a few hours ago i was leaving my house and was only going about 10-20 mph and i hit a deer/ the deer hit me and it messed up a good bit of stuff. i have to get a new grill, front bumper, hood, right finder, washer fluid tank, and head light. i was wondering what are some more aggressive front ends for these mustangs that cost about the same as the stock one? i was thinking gt bumper, California special grill, boss 302 lower valance, and maybe the stock hood. if i got a gt grill would the fog light plugs from my v6 fogs work? will the boss 302 lower valance work? would this combo look right? btw heres a pic of the damage.

The new fog lights should plug right up and I do agree that the GT bumper will look awesome.
I would look into the Saleen grille.
... Can't wait to try that deer meat jerky!

thanks man. i was just so shocked. it like ran into the side of me and literately knocked the car over a few feet. im glad there wasnt a car coming the other way or else it would have been a head on collision.

Wow had to go check for myself, it really is off AMs site. Glad I got the grill when I did...OP it sucks about the deer but now you have so many options for the front. You could honestly even do a gt500 front end then get the gt500 spoiler and rear valance, but that might be a little overkill of a v6.

I personally love the grille and how it squares off the front end from a side view.

I hate when people ask me why I'm building a Saleen "clone."
Ugggh people.

is there a kit i can buy to change it over to a gt500 front end or a 2013 front end? i know i would need the hood, bumper, upper and lower grill, fog lights but im sure theres still some other little stuff needed. also whats up with these head light prices. $1200 for ONE head light? wtf?

I'd stick with a take off prepainted bumper from roush take off. Choose a unique grille. (Fogs maybe) as long as your hood isn't damaged, no sense in spending on a less aggressive hood. (With the exception of the hood vents, the 13 hood is less aggressive than the 12 hood.)

Insurance is going to cover it anyway, I'd totally go with the '13 front end. It still mounts at the point points in the same way, so there really shouldn't be hardly any changeover.

yeah insurance is going to pay for what it cost to replace with factory parts. i just found out about a hour ago that the i choose the place to do the work and the insurance company pays them directly so im not sure if im going to be able to get anything but the parts that would originally on there. my hood is messed up in 2 different places so im going to have to get a new hood. i like the 2013 style hood cause of the vents in it. ill probably just go with the 2013 gt front end if they will let me.
