As soon as we find out the part numbers we'll be doing it to possibly both of my buddies 2011 mustangs.
FYI, sorry but that is incorrect. The location you a refering too is not where the pony lamp is placed on the 2013s(see pic). However, that would not be a bad place to use the lamps only if you were modifying a 2012 and earlier mirror.

Agreed.
Can you do a write up on the 05-10?

No. $170.00 per mirror (includes light, no skull cap). $70.00 or cheaper if you just want the light only.

Please see above...lol. I will try to get more pics this evening of the wiring. Also, I hit the map light button and the pony lights come on.

I wonder if we can tap the illuminated door sills for power instead of the overhead lights.
Will have to use test light see when the door sills illuminate.

It would be cool to have them go on with the map light though as you are driving.

Hmm. And also, don't Canadian cars come with heated mirrors?

Yes that would be a great source. To me even better than the map lights. You would use less wire. I also like the fact that I have a manual button to turn them on...lol.

Keep in mind, for those only wanting the light. The light alone will not come with the harness that has the "resistor" in it. I'm not sure of it's function. I do now that if you cross the wires it will not light up. I have tested the light to a 12v source (positive and ground) and the lamp lights up. If anyone can find the wiring for the 2013, that would help.

That's would've been a nice option with those mirrors. Hope the '15 has it.

My GT is Japanese spec, so my mirrors were different since they have to fold here. I managed to get a used pair of US spec mirrors a while back. They were really cheap, but not in the greatest condition.
I'm really considering these to complete the look.
For $170, I might just do it. Is that the average dealer price?

Agreed. It's not hard to make good looking folding mirrors. The mirrors on my dad's TL fold and look awesome.

If you point the pony puddle lamps up to the sky will they shine like the Batman signal?
