New member. Great rides, everyone!

This last weekend I purchased a 2007 V6 Alloy Gray Convertible. Man...I LOVE this car. I traded in my 1999 Mustang convertible that had 111K miles on it. The '07 is a much better car...better engine, better interior, better everything! This is now my third Mustang - all convertibles; My first was a 1968 when I was 17.

A few pictures of my new ride - from the car lot

Recent pic of my Allow GT

I originally posted some shortly after I got her but I think they may have been lost in the forum crash. She is in the body shop tight now, rear ended at a stop light. Just hit hard enough to mess up the bumper cover and do some minor sheet metal damage underneath. Here are pics with the new wheels just a few days before the accident:

I am taking the opportunity to have a GT/CS rear cover put on instead of the stock GT piece and I ordered a CDC Classic chin spoiler that I will have painted so that the middle section remains textured black like the center portion of the CS rear bumper.

The color is Tungsten of the mustang color spectrum. I found this side view. I was completing most work last fall as the weather was changing, hope to get some better pics this spring. Thnx
This pic is pre-stripes, and those are 20" Cavitto wheels that I bought off another member.

Thanks Doug, car looks great so does the wheels on Wayne's car. I am beginning to think that alloy may need a bright wheel.

Here is my 07 Alloy GT. Got a set of FRPP springs to go on, bring her down 1.5 all around. Anyone know if I can get a good alignment/camber adjust , once lowered, without getting the camber plates? Or do I need the camber plates?

Wheels

Thanks! My wheels are 18" Deep Dish Bullet replicas I got from Discount Tire. 18x9 with Nitto 255/45ZR18 555s up front and 18x10 with Nitto 285/40ZR18 555s out back. Discount matched the best individual prices on the wheels and tires from several different internet vendors and even with mounting, balance and tax I paid ~180 less than any package internet deal. +1 to Discount Tire.

Dez,

You car looks amazing! I now know I have to have clear corner lights up front.

Is the chin spoiler flat black or is it painted? If your entire chin spoiler is flat black it may impact what I do with mine. I have a CDC Classic chin spoiler on order and was wanting to have the outer portion painted, leaving the center section flat black. On your rear bumper cover, is the "diffuser" cent section flat black or painted? I am having a GT/CS rear bumper cover put in my Mustang and the center section will be left the textured black. I also have a CDC Classic chin spoiler on order and want to have the outer portion painted, leaving the center section flat black.

Thanks,

Wayne

the chin spoiler is the GT500 stock spoiler and i left it like it was from the factory. The rear bumper is the GT/CS rear bumper and I painted it like the GT500 rear bumper. (duplicolor bumper coating)

Got her back from the body shop. Here is a pic of her new butt:

They left the bottom portion textured black all around like the GT500, not painted like the GT/CS but I like it and it makes it easier now I can leave the chin spoiler unpainted completely. CDC Classic chin spoiler gets in Thursday and I have painted mirror caps, clear front corner lights and chrome bulbs on order also. Can't wait. Thanks for the inspiration Dez!
