If you do the hood, do the whole thing. Same with the fenders. I would've, but what I got was a precut kit and much less expensive than a full fender (custom cut pieces), but I still plan to do the whole fender eventually.

How's maintenance for it? Does it shine up and hold wax nicely?

Does gouging and scratching the front bumper on my '14 count as a mod?

Washed and waxed today, and missed the UPS truck delivering my springs. I've had a lot of things delivered lately and the springs are the first thing requiring a signature? Oh well, gotta wait til Monday

Installed GT500 mufflers today, so with the off-road H-pipe, my car has a loud deep rumble now.

Wish I could have heard that in person!

Brian, check out the "I don't think this will buff out" thread in Mustang General Chat - the OP's car is totaled and he's in Oregon, looking for a loaded 2014 GT. I told him to check you guys out!

Installed the upper grille and front splitter from Roush today. The lower grille delete is on backorder, so I'll have to take the front end apart again. Finished right as it was getting dark, so I will get pics tomorrow.

Had Ford Install the GT500 Axle Backs on Thursday (sounds perfect. Way better than the stock exhaust, and no drone). Friday I spent 4 hours having my wife's car in for the 15k maintenance. It was cheaper by far to have the exhaust installed at Ford. lol.

Chadwicked the vehicle. (Washless / Wax type of stuff, popular on the Corvette forums) First time I did it, took about 90 minutes (Friday night) -- Then went to the monthly Cars & Coffee event Saturday Morning and had lunch with my aunt-uncle (he has a C5 Vette). yesterday it took about 20 minutes to go over the car again with the triple play stuff (just because).

Then it rained last night.... No water spots at all. I'm impressed with the Chadwick Triple Play system. But the first time you will go through way more than 4oz. I'm going to wait a couple weeks and see how it holds up, but I think I'll be ordering a half gallon of the stuff (it's not cheap). Also, it doesn't leave any crappy white residue to clean up either. It's sort of like Zaino except there's no "cure time", and every time you add a coat, it gives it a deeper wet look (same as the Zaino). Might do it again tonight after work.

my car sits outside 24/7 365 days a year. I have yet to find a wax / polish that I am particularly impressed with and I've used them all. The no-sling tire dressing (comes with the kit) is awesome though. I'd buy that no matter what. It goes on and dries instantly and keeps the tires looking great even after rain. This afternoon I'm tossing all of the other waxes/polishes/claybar stuff I've collected since the Chadwick's kit does it all in one go and is so much easier.

Waiting on some under-the-hood dress up parts. Car has 1,000 miles on it (5.0) so I decided to check my oil to see if it is eating any. Nope. still at the full mark.

So all is well.

Corsa Sport Exhaust 14316 installed. Idle only a little louder than stock. High RPM much louder than stock. No drone on highway. Almost sounds stock on the highway... till I put my foot down then it screams. Its not a deep sound. More like a mid to high sound instead of bassy. Which is what I wanted. Its not crazy loud. Just enough.

Thanks. I went with the Sport because the Extreme seemed a bit much for me. I'd like to smooth out the sound a bit more. Would an X pipe help with that?

Yes. It gives it a more "exotic" sound, esp at high revs. The h is good for low brap rap rap...

I used the S&R lower springs and J&M adjustable panhard bar. For now I am sticking with the stock shocks and springs. It is nice to have a shop that does all my work for me for exchange of services.
