Scratched glass and cracked weatherstripping
I have had the car now for one week and have only taken it out once because im waiting to have the car fully detailed and protected. While I was cleaning it up I noticed several deep scratches on the upper part of the drivers side glass on the inside of the window like something was there at one point and that window is looser than the passenger side. I want to get my windows tinted but I dont want to tint over it. I also noticed my drivers side weatherstripping is already cracking. The car only has 27 miles on it, do you think the dealer will fix this? I read that the warranty doesnt cover glass somewhere.

The only reason I question it was because the passenger side looks brand new and nothing like that however I care more about the deep scratches in my glass. I made an appointment with my dealer service center but I dont want to waste my time or even know if I should be going there or to my salesmen, I will just call my insurance company if i have to as the glass needs to be fixed before I can tint and obviously this happended before delivery.

Currently a Corvette Owner!
I had the exact same issue on my 2011 GT. Ford fixed both at no charge - I dealt with the Service Manager. The window developed scratches in the rear edge, and the weather stripping went bad. You can read about it and much more in this informative thread, Check in: what has FAILED, BROKEN or worn out on your '10+ Mustang?

Go compare it to other 2014's on the lot. My 2012 looks similar .. but I don't think it has as many "cracks" ...
My 2010 had scratched window glass before delivery. Dealer replaced it. The first time they replaced it with NON-OEM glass. I was like what? Its a brand new car .. I want Autolite glass ... so they replaced it again.

When I first picked my car up from the dealership there was a long horizontal scratch on the passenger window. The dealership replaced it, but not even one month later there were two others in different locations. They dealership kept blaming it on rocks, but I think it's something else.
I haven't gotten it fixed (it'll cost me this time), and no new scratches have appeared.

You should bring it in to the service department at your Ford Dealer and get it checked out. Also, let me get this escalated to the customer service manager for your area. Please PM me back with your VIN, dealer, mileage, full name, and best daytime number.
