Question to those with GT500 mufflers

One thing that really helped me out besides removing the hangers was to put a jack under each mid pipe (with a hockey puck) and jacking up on the pipe after i had the clamp loosened. This gets the mid pipe high enough that you have room to pull the muffler back off the mounts.

I actually liked the throws on the stock shifter, just wanted to get rid of the rubbery feel, thus the ES bushing. That said, I've never owned a manual transmission car that DIDN'T have a short throw...two of them I even had installed before I even picked up the car. I'm sure it won't be long.
Great idea, going to give this a go when my turn comes.

Used off of a 2012 GT500. Haven't picked them up yet but shouldn't be too much longer.

So I FINALLY got the GT500 mufflers mounted along with my Barton shifter bracket. I LOVE the sound! I feel like it's nice and quiet when I'm gentle with the throttle, and much louder than stock when I get on it. I love the deeper tone, growl and increased rasp, but it's not annoying like with some of the other systems. This is definitely how the mustang should have sounded from the factory.

I've been looking around and the best price i have seen for the 2013/15 quad tip GT500 mufflers w/ valence is $855.
For those that put these on what was the price you paid for them?

I have a set of them off my GT500. I'd left them to be claimed by someone else if they needed them and they have decided to go in a different direction, so they're up for sale now. They have roughly 8500 miles on them if you're interested, though if you are, send me a PM to keep the thread and board clear of negotiations.

Here's yet another sound clip from a digital camera taken yesterday after I put the GT500 axle backs and mid pipes on. My wife did say she heard me leave this morning, that it was much louder. lol.

Sounds very good. I wish I could find some factory GT500 over the axle pipes.
