Picture request - 2013 Puddle Light Mirror

Hi ..

WOuld a 2013 owner be nice enough to take a picture of the underside of their side mirror?

Specifically what the Puddle Light insert looks like. Ford diagrams make it seem it's just a round insert that plugs into bottom of mirror.

Thanks!!!!

Good Luck with that!! I was thinking about replacing the mirror on my 2011 with the puddle lamps one, but if retro-fit is an option, would love to see the outcome of your work

I am hoping they use same voltage as dome light. Will be piece of cake if they do .

Replacing the entire mirror is $$$ and ford goes not sell only the mirror housing that I can find.

So you gonna just cut your own holes in your mirrors? Document the mod please.

Yes. That's the plan. The seam lines on my 2012 are a little different but the area where the light mounts is the same. I was told at least a week before parts are scheduled off back order.

I figured as much... but I figured in a few months, that price "may" start to drop .... I am sure you will have no issues with the wiring...(at least hoping)...

The lights are $57 each from Tousley ... no need to for entire mirror unless you want to try and wire the new heated glass ... which I would have NO IDEA how to wire ..

Simple relay to the rear defroster circuit.

Thought about doing it for mine, but since mine will not longer be a winter car, no need to.

Got a part number for the lights? I would be interested in the heated glass too. On foggy days it comes in handy too.

I don't have part number. Tousley looked it up and ordered. If you also want heated glass you will need to order entire mirror. $260 each MSRP.

That's just the part number base. You need a prefix and a suffix to be able to type that in and search or ask a dealer for it without having them search. That's what I'm looking for.
