No Knee Room

Does anyone else have this problem?
Because of the lack of telescopic steering wheel I have to move my seat where it is comfortable to reach the wheel, but then my knees are extremely close to the dash.
Even more annoying is that the room to the right of my right leg is almost nonexistant. My knee rests on the center console and has no room to move around. When I move my foot from brake to gas and back my knee bangs the console.
I know some people have put cushion pads on the console for this, But it's not so much how hard the console is, but rather that it encroaches on my space. A pad wouldn't solve the lack of room to the right of the knee.
It's as if Ford engineers never actually sat in the driver seat and thought about ergonomics.
I'm 6'0" btw.
It's driving me crazy why does the center console have to be so **** wide. Any solution for this??

I'm 6'4". When the 2010s came out, I sat in a V6 with power seat and found it much too tight. My knees were in the dash. So I was really sweating it while waiting for my Boss, knowing that I might have to turn it down if I didn't fit. I was hoping that the non-power seats in the Boss might have more leg room, and luckily they do. If you're not hung up too much on a power seat, the manual seat tracks might be an alternative, albeit a pricey one.

I like how I fit in the seat but I noticed the same thing. I've very comfortable, however I looked down to make the observation (I move forward just enough so I can push the clutch pedal all the way down comfortably) that if I were to get into a head on collision my knee caps would probably explode into my thighs. Lol.

I don't have any room problems sitting in or driving these cars, its getting in and out. I've knocked the living **** out of my right knee numerous times on the bottom of the steering column while entering and exiting. Of course that could be that I'm not very flexible because of back and knee problems and have a hard time getting in and out anyway.

I do the exact same thing, almost added that to my post above. I now grab my shin and pull my left leg back when I swing my foot out to keep from doing it.
