Just looking over the numbers the past few days, it looks like Steeda's tune is a little more potent than the Brenspeed one. I've heard good things about both.

OK, so you buy and install a Steeda CAI and custom tune, then months later Steeda writes an improved tune. Do you have to pay for each upgraded tune, get a year's worth of free upgrades, lifetime free upgrades, pay for a subscription to upgrades, or something else?

The Steeda team does an outstanding job when it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction... I wish more companies would be run like it!

The upgraded tune was complimentary, at no charge, no subscription... just an e-mail!

They did the same for me. Great customer service. Thanks to Gus and the group at Steeda.

Man, this makes things confusing.

Torn between Livernois, Steeda, or Brenspeed. Leaning heavily towards Steeda though.

Thanks for the great feedback guys! We've had some great response from the new tunes.

For anyone else who has the updates, keep the feedback coming!

I just put a steeda cai and a brenspeed tune on lat night and today I'm driving a completely different car. Stock my description would have been something like, a lot of hp, but the car still has good manners, if you sat in the passenger seat and the car was driven right, you'd never guess the car could get in the 12's in 1/4m. With the cai, tuner and exhaust my car still has some manners but the acceleration can only be described as violent. Not familiar with the others but I couldn't recommend this setup from brenspeed any more, hands down now, the fastest and most violent car I've ever owned.

So which tune are you running? The Steeda or the Brenspeed? If you have both - which one do you prefer?

PM me your processor code, tuner serial number, and anything you have done besides the cold air. I'll get you the update myself.

Gus, maybe you can shed some light onto my topic?

I'm very skeptical about getting a tune, as much as I'd love to have one.

The way I'm reading is that he has a Steeda cold air intake with the Brenspeed tune. Brenspeed sells their tune with Steeda's cold air kit.

While technically no aftermarket part voids your warranty as per the Magnuson-Moss act, in reality, some dealerships will do whatever they want, knowing that it is simply impractical for a customer to even consider legal action.

Some dealerships will actually treat you fairly, you simply have to find them. I've seen dealerships where you come in with an aftermarket oil filter from Jiffy Lube and they will try to void your warranty, I've seen others bring cars in with twin turbo's for legitimate warranty work and the dealer did what they were supposed to do without hassle.

Your experience will depend entirely on how the dealer you chose to go to is managed.
