When I replaced the stock axle backs I found some handwritten comments on one of the mufflers. If I'm reading it right, my car was the first down the line on the date indicated. At least that's how it reads to me...either way I found it interesting

all three of my cats are rescue cats, and while they might generally get along, they would never share sleeping/cuddling space at all.

Muffler is saved safely in the garage.....and 30 years from now hopefully I still have both the car and muffler as well....and I'm thinking the cat part of this thread has more than 9 lives and has taken it over !!!
