Hi There,
Long time lurker, first time poster..
Just to add to this - I e-mailed Ford Investor Relations on the weekend about this and here is their response:
Thank you for your recent email.
As a special thank-you to our shareholders, we offer qualifying shareholders the opportunity to participate in our "Friends & Neighbors" Special Vehicle Pricing Privilege (also known as our "X-Plan").
To qualify for this offer to qualifying shareholders, you must be a current Ford Motor Company shareholder who has held a minimum of one hundred (100) shares of Ford Motor Company stock (Ticker: F) for at least the past 6 months.*
An electronic copy of the application to be submitted is attached. Please return the completed application and appropriate documentation as instructed on the attached application. Once we have established your eligibility to participate in this program, an X-Plan number will be issued for you to take to your dealership. Typical turnaround time for issuance of an X-Plan PIN is 3-5 business days.
Sincerely,
Ford Motor Company

*Ford Motor Company reserves the right to modify the program, remove or change eligibility, or cancel the program at any time without notice.
Looks like they are saying 100 share minimum. So almost $800 if you bought 100 shares today.

OK, so let's say that someone who qualifies for the X-Plan is looking at a Mustang GT with a MSRP of $38,000. Does anybody know approximately what the X-Plan price would be on such a car? Also, when will we know if the X-Plan will be available on the 2011 Mustang GT?

As for when we'll know if its available on the 2011s? It will be, don't worry. Ford won't stop honoring it on the cars. They officially release the new list of ineligible vehicles when the new models come out. I sold a 2009 F150 right off the bat, and it was available on it. No one else had the truck. X-Plan was valid on it.

Ok so I'm about to pull the trigger on getting some blue oval stock. I just want to be sure that you must buy 100 shares and own then for 6 months? Or is it 50 shares?
