You don't get the PIN from MCA, just there ford partner access code, then you enter that in the spot on the ford partner website to request the PIN.

There is a contact phone number for MCA on the website, probably fastest to call them directly to get the partner access code.

Ha! Got into the Ford Partner site to look around.

Wish you could build out a car on the site and see the cost complete with options but it only gives the basic no option prices.

It used to link you to the ford site and let you build AND give you the X-Plan price of your build. It wasn't broken down, but it did give the final price. Not no more.

I am going to order a mustang, in the next week or so. Would I need to get the PIN now, or do I need to wait until until just before my car arrives so that the PIN does not expire.

PIN is good for a year, you can get two a year.

Long time lurker here, looking to place an order for a new 2011 GT. So let me get this straight, all I need to do is pay $50 to MCA, request a pin, and find a dealer? Are there any strings attached, or any reason why a dealer might not accept the X-Plan pin?

Appreciate it.

Yes, Yes, and Yes, but acceptance of X-plan pricing is up to the dealer. Not all may accept it.

Hold up just a little.

Join MCA for $50 membership fee unless you want to join for more than a year, if you do they give you a discount.

Then you get their Ford Partner ID code. Use that code to logon to the Ford Partner website, there is where you request the PIN.

Then, most any dealer should take the PIN since it pays them money back.

But, you may want to see what kind of deal you can get on the car you want before you get your PIN, I have already found a couple of places offering discounts that are better than x-plan pricing by a fairly large amount. Now, the x-plan PIN may help you even if the dealer is doing better than x-plan pricing because it limits the amount of the fees the dealer can charge you. Get the total out the door price both ways and see what is best.

If you bought just one share of stock at $2.40/share and sold at $1.30/share, you're only losing $1.10 (plus commissions). But if you bought 10,000 shares ($24,000) and sold at $1.30/share, you'd lose $11,000 plus commissions. So I wouldn't say you aren't losing much. You're losing almost 50% of your money no matter how you look at it.
I bought my 2008 mustang with an x plan worked great cause you can tell dealer well i can go anywhere and get the same price, plus you still get any incentive ford is offering on top or it so you dont have to choose like they are advertising now. But I have heard of afew people who got better than x plan price but it is very rare. oh and i didnt ave to buy stock

If any of you that bought your 100 shares and haven't been paying attention, Ford stock hit a new high of $18.09 and closed at $17.89 today!

I joined MCA after I did buy stock($11.00) I went in Aug. to buy 2010 Mustang. My dealer gave me a better deal with out the X Plan. I even wanted a Sunset Gold and in the Milwaukee area there were none. The first one I found was about 450 miles away and still ONLY PAID invoice (looked on Edmunds.com. for price). If you are going to get a current one, the X Plan is the best. And best of all I still have the stock.

Can anyone confirm that x plan pricing is 2% under invoice? I have done tons of searching on it without finding anything concrete on the subject. I also may be able to get a A or Z plan if I were to put it in the girls name but i'm not too sure what that discount its and if its worth the headache. Anyone know how the other plans shake out?

xplan is not below invoice. If you can get AZ plan, do it. Advertising fee is around $600. Holdback is 3% of base MSRP.
http://www.fordemployeeplan.com/pricing.html
AZ-Plan
Dealer Invoice - Holdback - Advertising Assessment + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice)

X-Plan
Dealer Invoice - (0.4% * Dealer Invoice) + Administration Fee* (see sample invoice)

My local dealer is currently running an employee pricing sale. Are the X-Plan prices usually better than the EPP sales? I never truly believe I am getting a real EPP.
