She's putting roughly 25k per year on the poor 6'er.. I'll probably get her done around 50k and most likely, by the stealership... that way if there's an issue after, I have 10k for it to appear before the warranty is gone.

Ah, I see. Do those automatics have a drain bolt and a filler?

On Hondas you can only drain 3 quarts at a time so you drain/fill and then drive through the gears and repeat 2 more times to get most of it out.

Hence the reason for a flush. It's a device that is connected to the transmission lines that run to/fom the radiator. The device then "flushes" the old fluid out, and installs all new fluid. Pan is dropped first to replace the filter, then re-installed, then this flush process. It's not a cheap process, as my local Ford service gets $189.00 for this.

Since there's not a fill tube/dipstick for these transmissions, I doubt there's a drain plug, but this is going to make me have a look see tonight!
