"Honey, they were all out of swivel sockets at the hardware store so I had to replace the driveshaft too... But don't worry, it was ON SALE!!"

I ordered mine last Monday, along with one of MGW's composite shifters. I asked the salesperson that took my order, if the shaft would accommodate the stock shift **** & she told me that it would. I hope that she was correct, that way I have the option of switching back, should I not like the feel of the new shifter.

I'm sorry that this is off track but does anyone I'm socal have an mgw? I'm pretty happy with my car with just the steeda shift bracket but I read threads like this and I feel like I might be missing out.

Not local...but I've driven a car with the Barton shifter and bracket and that was much better than my stock one. And the MGW is far better than the Barton.

Very nice mod. I've had mine about a year and love it, no regrets at all. I also like how the company continues to improve it. It's too bad that that it is under the car and all covered up. Would be nice to show it off.

I've driven a mustang with the MGW and I have the Steeda now. The MGW had just a little more nvh but nothing remotely bothersome. While the shifting was a little better, I know it's an all around better shifter and I do want one but I'm having a hard time deciding and just going for it. This thread and others help but is there anyone here who has went from the Steeda tri-ax to the MGW that could help me decide?

I've had one on my '13 GT500 for about two months now. I really like it. I've got the throws set to the shortest distance, there's still a little more play in it than I'd prefer but it's preferable over the stock shifter.
