So wait a second...

Is it likely that ford will do, perhaps, another refresh on this body style before they release the all new 50th? Like a mid-model year?

AMChief - no - the 2014 model will be essentially the same as the 2013.

The 2015 ( or 2014.5 or whatever they end up calling it ) will be the new bodystyle.

The 2013-14 was the refresh of the '10-12 car. The '15 will be all new.

2014 MUSTANG PRICING IS AVAILABLE NOW

Here are a couple of comparisons of MSRP (including D&D) from 2013 to 2014:

Mustang V6 100A Coupe
  • 2013 = $22,995
  • 2014 = $22,995
Mustang V6 200A Premium Coupe
  • 2013 = $26,995
  • 2014 = $26,995
Mustang GT 300A Coupe
  • 2013 = $31,095
  • 2014 = $31,545
Mustang GT 400A Premium Coupe
  • 2013 = $35,095
  • 2014 = $35,545
Shelby GT500 820A Coupe
  • 2013 = $54,995
  • 2014 = $55,445
Shelby GT500 821A Coupe
  • 2013 = $58,490
  • 2014 = $58,940
So, it appears that V6 prices didn't change, but V8 prices went up $450. 2013 V6 & GT models have a $1,500 rebate, while there aren't any 2014 rebates (yet), so there's another difference to consider.

On a side note, the black appearance package (new for 2014) has an MSRP of $995.

Thanks for the info Brian. I will have to wait it out until they offer a rebate on the 2014's. That will pay for most of my leather recaros!!

Brian,
Did the prices for the options on the GT500 change?

The options appear to be the same price from 2013 to 2014, just the base price of the car itself went up.

Thanks Brian! I just bought my 2013 GT (400A) a couple days ago, and the rebate for GT's here in So. FL is currently $2000, plus I had a $750 Private cash coupon. In addition I bought mine at X-plan. I couldn't be happier.

Congrats! Gotta Love the Gotta Have it Green! You scored some good rebates - time to spend those savings on some mods now!

Hello PaxtonShelby,

Your local Ford dealer has great offers and incentives on the entire Ford Motor Company vehicle lineup. If you would like detailed information on special offers and incentives in your area, please call 1-800-334-4375.

Just remember to see your dealer for complete details as rebates and incentives are subject to change.

Happy Holidays!
Andrea

Thanks Andrea. I appreciate your help. I know the owner of a dealership in the area and I'm sure he'll do everything he can to give me the best deal. The X-plan will help as well! As soon as I sell my '94 Cobra I'll be getting my PIN, calling him, and checking lots of option boxes on the order sheet!!

This will be my first new car purchase. For 25 years I have bought nice clean used cars, taken great care of them, and sold them a few years later for little/no loss. That method has financed most of the build of my '66 coupe. But THIS time, I'm finally going to pull the trigger on a brand new car.

Brian,
What is the difference between Price Level 315 & 415 on the VOC?
My 2013 Vehicle Order Confirmation is Price Level 315 and the 2014 VOC is 415.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Order Type 1 = Stock Order
Order Type 2 = Retail Order (Sold)

Order Type 1 is a Retail Order (special ordered for a customer) and Order Type 2 is for stock inventory.

Price level is just an arbitrary number kind of like a version number for software for Ford to mark what the pricing structure was at the time that order was placed. Ford raised prices on the '14's vs the '13's (at least on the V8 models) so they issued a new Price level number.

I thought I may have had the order type reversed, that's why I asked.
That's for correcting that.
