2013 Aftermarket Exhaust

Hey All! New to the forums here.

I was wondering if the axleback exhaust systems such as Borla or Flowmaster designed for the 2011/2012 GT will be compatible with the new 2013 GT. I'm going to assume they are, but want to make sure since I plan on a Borla S-type for my future 2013 GT

I was wondering exactly the same. I wanted to order Hushpower axle backs for mine...

Any update on this matter would be great since I need to have them shipped down to CR, I would like to do it in advance.

The aftermarket axel back's may be a bit different for the 13's since the tail has changed. Might be to early to know for sure. I'd like to find some axel backs that don't look like two 55 gallon drums hanging out the back like the stock set up .......without being too loud

Just get some high heat satin black paint and paint the mufflers. Then all you will see is the tips.

I am pretty sure that they will fit! cause all the bumpers will fit the 2010's and the chasis is still the same so I am going to go out on the limb and say that they will fit!

I say they fit as well. To be sure someone could call a dealer and verify the stock muffler part numbers between 12-13

Take a look at Flowmaster's Hushpower axle backs...

I'm planning to hit my stock mufflers with bbq paint until I get this sorted out. (Like LEwis26 suggests)

I believe they should all fit. On FRP's site it said that their exhaust was for GT's 11-13. I ordered another set of Roushes. I should have taken my old set off my totaled 2012... oh well!

Thanks Man! I was pretty devastated, but I do get a 2013 out of it, and a bad back and messed up thumb but, that's life. It's been tough being without a mustang or manual car the past 3 months, but good things are worth the wait!

Here's a link of the FRPP exhaust just to confirm:

Got this message from Flowmaster Rep:

Since the '13 Mustangs haven't been released, we have not had a chance to install or test any of our systems on the car. From what little I've seen of the new car (I have an '11 GT, myself), it appears very similar to the '11-'12, but we won't update our info until after our dyno testing, etc. We should hopefully know more in the next month or two, as the cars begin getting delivered.
Thanks,

Jeff Thomas

Louie, recuerde que van a modificar de falta leve a grave los roncadores en RTV.
A mi me encanta magnaflow, todo el catback, es genial, pero esa vara me preocupa y me Ya no lo haria la verdad x esa tontera de cambio

As for exhausts, I am positive nothing has changed, and for 2013`s it will easily work.
I personally love Magnaflow, the whole catback exhaust.
Sometimes I turn off the radio, oh that is music

Haha. When they said they had improved the shaker system I thought "waste of money!" I won't even turn the stupid thing on as long as I have that big engine up front spewing beautiful melodies.
