Idon't see a power increase but more of a rerating for the 5.0 kinda like what GM did with the V6 camaro.

I would love select shift on the autos but who knows, I wish CO wasn't only BOSS spec though.

Can't say for sure, but I think that part was speculation.

I don't see a crazy ammount of changes for 2012....maybe an option here or there, but nothing major.

For what it's worth:

I'm hoping there are no major changes which will make me say, "Geeze, I wish I waited!" But then again, there is nothing wrong with improvement!

After reading this, I think it would have been nice if Ford had waited until the 2012 MY to introduce the 5.0L and work on upgrading the 4.6 to about 350Hp, maybe work on getting a mile or two per gallon increase in fuel mileage. Wouldn't have been tough but would have been nice to ease into the new engines instead of the WHAM! that the new models put down.

Why bother.
It was a dead engine.

New engines were suppose to be in the 2010, but the roadmap changed a little, so we had to wait a year to get the 5L in 2011.

Its almost as if now they are adding features or models or changes every year or 2 to keep things fresh.

Since they yanked Homelink from the 2011s I bet the 2012s will have it. Maybe they'll let people with automatics order the Brembo package.

I'm waiting to hear if Grabber Blue will be available, might have to squeeze an order in at the end of the '11 run if not.

That will depend upon how long it takes to fill up the 2011 production schedule. First day of ordering the 2012 is Nov. 18th, as a point of reference.

As long as it's not lime green. I saw a lime green Lamborghini yesterday. I wept for it.

Hmm this makes me think a "Grabber Green" will replace "Grabber Blue"

Might have to go put that order in..

I thought order banks opened on 11/8, not 11/18.

Colors were also brought up in another thread, and Sterling Grey was gone, but Lava Red was added, and there were also plum accents for the seats in CONCEPTS.

2012 V6/GT:

Sterling Grey is gone.
Lava Red is a new color (very dark red)
Charcoal Leather with Plum Inserts is a new interior option for Premium models, but is only available with the Lava Red paint.
Reverse Sensing System finally available (as part of a security package).
