1966 Mustang

I pulled the engine and transmission, put the car on the lift and we pressure washed, sanded, wire brushed and treated the bottom of the car with ospho. I welded and sealed a 4 inch by 5 inch spot on the driver floor pan. Then painted the under side with epoxy paint. I also did the engine compartment and underside of the hood. I sprayed the trunk reinstalled a new mat. I sent the clutch out and had it rebuilt with new springs and lining. Installed a new throw out bearing. Took the transmission to a reputable builder and had him put in new seals and syncro's. He said the inside looked like new. I also put a new pinion seal in the rear end and fluid. We set the timing and the points looked good. Had a carb kit installed and drained the tank and put new gas in it. I bought a headliner and next week I have an appointment in Lakeland to have it and a new windshield installed. All the fluids have been changed except brake fluid. New battery also. The front end seems to be pretty tight and the brakes had a slight pull to the right but that went away after I drove it. I put the 3 speed back into the car to keep it original but if someone wants an automatic I found all that is necessary for $600.00. I also have a reasonable option to put AC on it. All the gauges work, and It carries good oil pressure and the temp runs where it's supposed to. The car is believed to have 81,000 miles.

This car had limited rust and is in extremely nice shape. It’s not a 100 point show winner but much better than most that are out there. Previous owner had half bottom quarters installed and it looks like they did a nice job.
