2007 GT Convertible with 2011 GT/CS wheels?

I am debating whether to buy a set of lightly used 2011 GT/CS 19" rims and tires to replace my stock 2007 18" rims. I've photoshopped what the 2011 rims would look like but I still can't decide. The stock rims have such a nice clean look, but I've had this car for 8 years and feeling like a change. Opinions?

I had an 11 GT/ CS. At about 15,000 miles the wheels showed clearcoat peeling around the letters on all 4 rims. Nothing bad in the cleaning of them from my wind. Ford replaced them to the tune of $2200 mounted. Other that that, I got good comments on the styling. They were on a Silver car.

Which ones are you referring to, the stock 07 rims or the 2011 rims? What do you mean Plasti dip for a change?

Another photoshop with the top down outside. It seems to me like the light really plays tricks with gray painted insides on those 2011 rims. I kind of wish those rims were machined "bright" all the way through, like my 07's.

Another photoshop. Not sure why I am so on the fence about these wheels, but if I don't like them I guess I can always re-sell. I am just afraid they won't look as good as in the photoshops I'm doing. I like "bright" wheels, and I'm afraid the grey inserts are doing to look kind of dull compared to my stock wheels.

Thanks. I bought them off a guy on here. This is the final result. Just had the windows tinted to match, but don't have a pic of that yet. The top is hardly up in Florida anyway.

the CS wheels are a much nice wheel than your stock (cosmetically, and my opinion)

Good choice!

Nice wheels!

Keep them waxed and cared for. Just as Pete, all of mine were replaced at only 5k on the odometer.

Those wheels are fragile.
