I have the CS front and rear, have never scraped the front on anything, but that's because I watch carefully for slopes or parking curbs. I go to a different entrance or exit or go around the block and approach from the other direction if I suspect a parking lot has too much slope at the entrance. My car is stock height, but with 255/45/18's all around. I would have done the GT500 conversion if I had more money available when I did the bumpers.

I have read most of the info on this. Still a bit confused. My v6 got rear-ended and I want to get the GT500 look. Can the C/S accessory part 6r3z-6320049-BA be used? Is it black matt all around? Or only between the exhaust? Does it have to be painted black matt all around to get the GT500 look? The Ford accessory store online shows it black all around. My Ford body shop is confused and wants me to buy the service part 7r3z-17k835-BAPTM for $665. They tell me not to paint the textured part. I dont understand since the C/S is painted on the textured part. Please help. Thank you.

The Gt/Cs Kit is Black in the Lower Center Only. But for $355.00 I think if you Must Have it Black All Around you got a Lot o Money To Play with. I would Suggest you Take a Visit to your Local Dealer and Check out a CS or Shelby Gt in Person and Decide if you even want it Black all Around. Most Roll with it As is.

When The GT/CS and Shelby Bumper Pieces First Came out I was Able to Sell These Pieces Shipped to Your Door Usually Cheaper than you Could Buy Them Locally. Well Ford Changed the Prices awhile Back And Killed my Sales on these Items Via The Internet. I can Still Compete Locally but Not via the Internet. I feel if I can Not give you a Competitive Deal Than I will Refer you to your Best Plan of Action.
FYI I AM STILL COMPETIVE VIA THE INTERNET ON MY GT-500{ Front }Fascia Kit Which Comes With All The Goodies Needed to do an Ez Install.

Most Dealers are Unaware of the Accessory Parts so you Usually Get Quoted for the Service Replacement parts Vs the Accessory Parts. The Service Parts are More than the Accessory Parts And you get Less! The Service Parts are Just a Bare Cover Where the Accessory Kits Have Extra Goodies. If you Have a Gt You Will be Good to Go With the Accessory Kits but if You Have A V6 you Will Need the Additional Gt Pieces your V6 will need to get to GT Bumper Specs! I as A Rule do Not Often Post Parts Prices or Part Numbers Because they Change Regularly. In This Case I will Post FORDS Suggested Retail in Order to Give you the Best Deal when Purchasing these Parts Locally!

The Front and Back GT/CS Covers should finally be off Back order in early March. I have had quite a few sales on hold due to some component shortage!

As an Independent OEM Ford Parts Supplier I will NOT be offering The GT/CS Bumper covers other than to CALIFORNIA Will Call Customers. The Math & shipping Issues does not work on these Two Items and I would advise you buy these Local.

It seems all the local dealers want to hire these days are entry level people on the cheap. They worry about the price of everything instead of the value. Bean counter mentality. It's whats keeping the economy where it is.
I hope at some point to get all my stuff sold off and perhaps find a Dealer that will appreciate my skills and relocate. I am pretty tired of this area. most but not all of the FORD Dealers around here are lacking any attraction for me these days.
