A Supercharger Question

This is just a broad question....I have recently been privy to some testing of a new supercharger package for the 4.6L 99-04 GT's. It uses an MP112 Supercharger. Injectors are upgraded to 42 lbs/hr. Comes with a MAF, intake, upgraded pump..in other words, everything needed for an install. The test results on the prototype kit came in at 373 rwhp and 368 ft/lbs of torque for the non-intercooled version.
The price has not been set for the package. The question is, where should it be priced to really generate some interest. Most of the companies out there offering this type of charger start at about $4400.00.

Looking for some real feedback.

Thanks

That's the heart of the Magnuson/Eaton supercharger kit.

kinda like how the more commonly known as FRPP/Whipple supercharger is actually a W140ax

For a non intercooled base supercharger 'kit' I would say anywhere from 2800 ~ 3200 would definetly generate interest. Most kits are around 4k new. If you wanna sell some kits quick, price em less than 2500.00. The lower the price, the more interest you'll generate.

Cheaper the better. 4-6 grand is not easy money to come by to go toward a SC.

Pretty good guess on pricing. Non-intercooled is supposedly to fall between 28-3200.00 with intercooled around 32-3600.00.

I thought so. I think the m90 was stock on lightnings.

The M90 was the one on the old 3.8 SC Tbirds and GM 3.8 motors, I think the lightning blower is the same or very similar unit as the 03-04 Cobra's
