3 inches and you'll be dragging the ground. 1.75 is as low as I'd go. That's where I'm at, and I'm scraping speed bumps and driveway transitions on a regular basis.

Yeah, I think mine is around 1.5" to 2" lowered, speed bumps are a definite no no. I'd like to make it lower, but then there's no way I could get in my driveway.

I wouldn't go for that. Install is pretty easy and straight forward as long as you know how to turn a ratchet.

A couple years ago, I was quoted 1100 for labor to do shocks and springs. Now I know that's somewhat high, but just to give some perspective. It sounds to me like the guy is either buying some really crappy/cheap springs, or more likely cutting your stockers.
I wouldn't go for that. Install is pretty easy and straight forward as long as you know how to turn a ratchet.

Going to go for engine swap. I would go up to the 4.6L but I don't think it has the power that I want. Any crate motor or other engine options you guys would recommend?
