Question shaker 500 removal? (delete)

howdy folks

looking to shed some weight and save my battery. any issues running without the radio/amps?
guidance/tips for taking it out would be most appreciated. i will disconnect the battery before i start.

I seriously doubt you'd have a problem without having the radio installed. As far as taking it out goes, it's fairly easy. Take out two screws from under the center console, then most of the dash comes apart with spring clips. The radio itself will be held in with 4 hex head bolts. Try this link:

taken from here found in this thread. i'm guessing this is a security feature
wish i could get a hold of that PDF manual
