How can I run new wire from door to interior.

I just replaced my door speakers and subs. Now I would like to wire them up to my new amps but I am having a hard time. How can I runs the new speaker wire from the door speakers to the new amps I have in the trunk. I do not want to drill new holes in the door and body so what other options do I have.

Am I better off just using the factory wires for the sub and 5x7's and splice into them and run it into the trunk? If so does anyone have the wire color codes for the front speakers and subs? Also will I still be able to splice into the factory wiring and run it to the new amp if I have already removed the stock amps?

I just did this a few weeks ago and ran new wires for mine. It was kind of a PITA, but I think will serve much better than trying to screw with spliceing into the stockwires. You have to remove the loosen tube going through the doorjam the pop out the plastic brackets holding in the door harness. You should then be able to sneak the wires through there. If you cant get the brckets to snap back in place its not a big deal becasue all they really do is keep the harness from moning around. Here are pics of what I'm talking about

hope that helps. I used the thick blue wire as a tool to tape all the samller wires to and pull it through from the door to the cabin. You could also use a meatal coat hanger or somthing like that

This was a huge PITA when I put lights behind the door reflectors. Despite my best efforts and too much time, I couldn't come up with a solution like 05PRMTX did.

I wound up poking a tiny hole in the rubber that attaches to the door, ran the wires behind the accordian part and then poked another tiny hole in the rubber that attaches to the door frame. I wrapped the wires well for extra protection and put dabs of silicone sealer where the wires went through the holes. I'm not real proud of this solution but you can't see the wires and it saved my sanity.

I feel your pain there, I was about at that point when I finally figured it out. And just fyi for anyone messing with this, that hole you pop the bracket out of is not dburred very well. I cut the **** out of my hands doing this. I had gloves, but they got in the way a lot so I took them off.

If you have seperated the harnesses thats as much dissasembly as you can do. just run the wires along side the harness under the clip. Most speaker wire is pretty thin so once you do that the gray pracket should still slide back on, over the wires. It might take a little fiddling and adjusting the wires, and it will be a tight squeeze, but the bracket will slide back on. I did a couple wires on each side of the harness if I remember right. It still slid back on and locked into place. Hope this works for you. If you need better pics and can try and take some more.

Hey sorry it so long to get back to you. Here are a couple more pics. Hopefully these help, its hard to get a camera in there. If these dont help I can try and pop it all out again and take some more pics.

basically they go through the bracket, around the harness and into the interior. If this doesn't help much let me know
