Dead Shaker

Okay, well its not so much dead as spitting out every disk I try to put in it. I was getting very close to doing a couple other mods, but now i'm torn between doing that or just saving my pennies and getting a head unit, plus i'd have a $100 deductible i'd have to pay anyway. So in the meantime, school me in head units, because I literally know nothing about them. Below is a list of must haves, would likes and don't care for's.

Must have:
7" touch screen.
Must allow me to put whatever image i'd like when I turn it on(don't they all do that?)
DVD player
iPod adapter for my glove box OR center console storage area(can you choose where it goes?)

Would like:
Bluetooth

Don't care for:
Navigation - my Blackberry does this just fine.
High price. I just opened a business, so my bank is already broken.

Help me out!

Probably a silly question , but if your car is still in warranty will the dealer not replace the head unit? Maybe you could get by with it until your business starts rockin'. If that's not an option you could check here... http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Car/MyCar.aspx?

The dealer will replace it, but I have a $100 deductible. So either way i'm going to end up spending money on this, and i'm considering my options before I choose a route.

This was not a good time for something to break. =(

LOL i have a lifetime warrenty on my radio now, i am on my 7th shaker 1000 and i might be going in for my 8th, plus i might be going in for another Amp cause i am having problems with 1 of them. I ended up calling ford on this and they are working with the dealership but i really would like to see them fix my entire system. If i were you though i would just go for a Pioneer headunit and redo your speaker set up.

Your best financial bet is to fix what you have. What you're looking to replace it with will be at least $500.00 plus installation...

Wait.. it's a 2007 Mustang. Did you buy it in 06? I'm guessing on that...

Still, at this stage, $100 deductible is cheap.

love my shaker 500 . I had second thoughts when I bought my 05 kept thinking I shoulda went for the 1000 . I am glad I didnt the 500 has plenty of sound for me , and plenty of volume level as well , the 1000 would have been a waste of extra money .
