The side that's messing up is the side I didn't de contaminate. I used something on the other side to attempt to remove wax n all. U think it didn't bond good enough cause I didn't clean the surface as well as the other ?

Man, that is awesome. I thought some manufacturer came out with actual 2013 tail lights for the 05-09 body style when I saw your post. I wish there was a gloss plasti-dip...

I think there is something made by plastidip that's a spray on gloss finish for after you've put down the plastidip. They're talking about it on another thread... Maybe the one titled something like "my little 2013 project"

They make it where you can either mix it in, or after you spray the matte, you spray over it to give it a more satin look, and after a few more coats it becomes glossy.

****...That's pretty badass! I might have to try that at some point. They make a "glossifier" to give it some shine, and they also make a "clear" color. Although I'm not sure how clear it actually is...I've heard some say it is smokey, and others say they use it as a clear coat. Have any of yall used the clear yet?
