GT500 spoiler vs stock GT spoiler?
Trying to decide if I like the GT500 spoiler more than the stock GT spoiler. Anyone who has pics of a GT500 spoiler, I'd love to see them.

I definitely love mine much more than the stock pedestal GT spoiler. As rts said, it's a very simple conversion. I snagged my GT500 spoiler pre-painted off of eBay.

Brian, love your car, can't beat Performance White! I ordered my spoiler from (my dealership I work for) Ford (OEM service part) and had my Body Shop paint it for me.

That does looks pretty sleek, especially with the new wheels I got. I think I might have to get one from the spoiler store on eBay as well. Is the old stock GT spoiler worth anything used? Not sure how much of a market there is for those?

GT500 spoiler all the way! Looks WAY better than stock IMO. Everyone who sees my car tends to agree.

Also, IDK where you're considering buying your spoiler for, but I'd definitely give "the spoiler store" on ebay a big thumbs up. Can't beat the quality for the price.

Yeah, that's exactly where I was going to buy it from. I really like how it looks in that bottom picture. It really looks like it extends out like the 2010+ GT500 spoilers. Is there only one specific place to mount it, or is there some flexibility when placing the GT500 spoiler on the decklid? Meaning, can you make it so it extends out farther?

Just take the nuts off of the 4 bolts and use the fishing line to cut though the adhesive. I forget what cleaner I used to remove the rest of the adhesive, but just take your time.
The gt500 spoiler looks great and I haven't regretted the swap in the least.
I went with the OEM Ford piece. It uses the 4 bolt holes like the original. I believe some of the non OEM versions only use 2 of the bolts, which requires you to plug the unused holes.
Here's a picture of mine............
