Finaly decided to show off my Baby

Please remember it is still a work in progress, I still need the Cervini upper and lower grills, Powerhouse turbo (mid February hopefully) and a few other small details still need to be added.

Where did you get all the metal hoses for the engine in the last pic? They look great!

AutoZone they are the hose covers but they have the hi-quality 2 color anodized fitting covers and unless you look real close you can’t tell they are not real steel braided hoses wit the actual fittings on the ends.

looks great with that hood. I would definitely shave those door moldings. Other than that, looks great!

2005 Windveil Blue 4.0 V6
Car looks real good. Nice way to pick the different manufacturers body panels. They all go real well together. I like the CS6 hood too. Very nice job. Good luck with the turbo, that'll be A LOT of fun! I only know one other guy with the Powerhouse turbo and he's putting down some killer times at the track.

Right now the exhaust is a 4” dia Flow master mounted in the center of the car and dumping out right behind the rear axel.

I am still trying to find the muffler used by Saleen for their center exhaust; they only want to sell the complete system.

Quote from Saleen's web site "When these valves open, a portion of the exhaust gases is routed through a second set of tail pipes pointed at the ground which allows the engine to be calibrated to produce higher torque and non restrictive flow." end quote

Then I can have my shop do it much cheaper.

As for the grill set up I am trying to find a local shop to anodize the upper and lower grills black that’s why I don't have them installed yet.

The bumper piece has a lip that sits on the lip below the license plate then comes around and lines up with the top of the bumper at the front and is held in place by the 2 screws that hold the front of the bumper in place.

It attaches with the double sided adhesive tape ant 2 screws underneath the add-on lip. I actually bonded the lip to my bumper and bade it look molded in.

That lip is made for the GT so I also made 2 aluminum brackets to hold the lower lip where the exhaust comes out solid.

I recently had to look at a wrecked Saleen that had the rear bumper off and looked at the exhaust. It looks kind of strange, almost looks like the stock type mufflers with the outlet but then has this small diam. pipe that comes out beside the regular large outlet that goes to the center outlet.
so the mufflers have 2 outlets on each side. doesnt seem like much would flow thru the center outlet in the bumper.

Look at the exhaust on the 69-70 shelbys. You might be able to do something with that.

Coming out the center is pretty much for looks only; you need to have that strait through bypass because I have read that you loose too much horsepower with the two 90 degree bends needed for it to come out the center.
