Smile Another touch of retro/old school

Well after we finally restriped the spoiler after it was repainted I was able to add the finishing touch this evening. Let me know what you think?

These are actual 3D chrome lettering and they slant so very slightly to give it the new car appeal for a retro feel. These are raised letters, not a decal.

I love the spoiler and stripes.... I don't know about the letters- maybe I'd like them more if they were within the stripes.... not extending out past them. Eitherway though, looks like a great car you should post more pix.

One of my favorite ducktail spoilers. Agressive but not too much.

+1 on what Tom said. More pictures!

I have to agree with the others on this mod. Not a fan of the old style letters. Love the stripes, ducktail and +1 on more pictures of the whole car.

We worked with these for about an hour, decided they would accent the rear the way I have envisioned the final product. I will post a collection for all to see this evening. Any special request?

Looks good, but I would have spaced the letter out more. If you look at a 65 the letters go from tail light to tail light. I did something similar except I used actual 71 stick on letters from scott drake $15 for the set. The pic below was from the first time with a three inch gap. I have since replaced them and used a 4 inch gap.

bee bop, I agree but this is not 1971, this is 2007. We toyed with them for like 2 hours while we were striping and all. In the end, I have 3 other cars locally now to do this week. Someone must like the new look.

Looks great. I like the spacing. Is that the Cervini's Type III Ducktail Wing, Part#2222? That's the first shot I've seen from the back, love the slope and angle of it.

I like it. I like all of the different lettering ideas such as lettering size and spacing. If they were all the same it wouold be boring. Nice job Brandon! Looks sharp!

Chritaka - actually it is a 2227 which is made for a spoiler delete decklid. The 2222 is made to work with those of you who have the holes from the factory spoiler.

The Cervini 2222 uses optional hole covers to hide the factory spoiler holes. The 2222 also only uses tape to hold the quarters in place.

https://www.cervinis.com/Files/File/...tions/2222.pdf

The 2227 will hide the factory holes and you can use screws to hold everything in place.

I'm replacing my factory spoiler with a 2227 when I get up enough nerve to drill some holes in my 2 week old GT

ShowGT.....let's see some more pictures of your ride!!! Love the ducktail and I may be considering this one now. I thought you were running the C-series ducktail at first. That's the other one I'm looking at.
